I've spent over a decade building and being part of tech ecosystems in Canada and the SF Bay Area — hackathons, hacker houses, community programs. My work is about designing the conditions where builders thrive: the right people, the right programs, the right roles activated at the right time. My background in political science and public affairs (UCLA) and integrated design, business & technology (USC) is probably why I think about ecosystems more like infrastructure than events.
